Financial Aid
Undergraduate students may receive financial support through the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, the College of Engineering, or through fellowships administered through the University's Office of Financial Aid. The following opportunities are available through the Department:
- Homer Johnson Scholarship (awarded to freshmen)
- The Burton-Simcox Scholarship (awarded to freshman)
- The Dow Chemical Outstanding Junior
- Plus others
The Homer Johnson and Burton-Simcox Scholarships are merit only and are based on the entering student's high school GPA and ACT scores. No application is required. Awards are made based on the student's being in the COllege of Engineering and having expressed and interest in Chemical Engineering on the application form.
Inquiries for departmental financial aid should be sent to the undergraduate program chair. College scholarship information is available from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Applications for the University administered fellowships may be obtained from the financial aid office.
